PTI specializes in the service and repair of electrical transformers, reclosers, regulators, electronic controls and distribution equipment.

The Power of Quality

The unique facilities within the PTI Service Center contribute to quality care for each repair unit. Every incoming unit receives a thorough inspection to evaluate its condition. The onsite scrap shop can provide quick responsible recycling of raw materials from retired units. The Service Center can make quick repairs using standard stock parts from PTI's large inventory. Repaired units are refilled with clean Oil in accordance to environmentally safe practices.

The test laboratory is fully equipped to perform electronic control repair, replacement and testing services for transformer units up to 138kV Voltage levels (650 BIL). Each repaired regulator, Recloser, control, and transformer is functionally tested. Electrical tests are performed to confirm quality and to ensure the units are suitable to be re-installed. A dedicated paint booth is available to apply a new finish on repaired units and control boxes.
